Trees Planted by the Water

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

Jeremiah 17:7-9

It is easy–natural, even–to look at our circumstances and allow them to dictate our attitude.  When the sun beats down and the rains don’t come, we have two choices: retreat in defeat or pray for rain.  Of course, I’m not just talking about physical heat and drought, and neither was Jeremiah.  We all want to be like the tree planted by the stream whose roots plunge deep into the soil in search of life-sustaining water.  We all want to be able to take the heat of adversity and come out on the other side with green leaves.  And we all can face the heat of fear with the same confidence when our trust and faith are firmly fixed on the Lord Jesus Christ.  In spite of apparent drought, we will never fail to bear fruit when our hearts and minds are focused on the one who came to set us free from fear, unbelief, and every manner of sin.  Our God is an awesome God!

Whatever your battle today, take comfort in this truth: your God is able to deliver you from the hand of the enemy.  Just trust him.  The rain will return.

Shalom y’all.

Your gift of encouragement is such a comfort in difficult times. Global Spheres Center is strategically located for an end-time call. I see concentric circles fanning out from your center… covering all of North America, Central America, and eventually the entire Western Hemisphere with waves of GOD’s Presence- in intercession, in displacing spirits of darkness, and bringing as Pastor Chuck has said Kingdom Reality “…on earth as it is in Heaven…”.

May His Grace, Provision, and Presence strengthen all the hands and hearts united in this beautiful process. Continued Blessings, in HIM… ~ Santos

For I am that tree planted by the living waters and my roots go deep. Pam, 34 years ago I studied that scripture. It brought such nourishment to my soul and put me on a path leading to the baptism in the Holy Spirit. What joy filled memories your picture and blog brought to me today. August 9 will be my 34 year anniversary of that baptism. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and give you rest.

The water feature and trees remind me of going on the road to hana in hawaii were it was raining and cool and the forest was lush and beautiful

Thank you GOZ for having a place where creativity and Jesus, the glory of the Lord, are expressed in Israel. I hope in God’s timing the remaining tribes of Ephraim, Gad, etc. have “schools” developed around their redemptive gift (like the Zebulon, Issachar and Judah Programs). A lot of work….Thank you all for being an excellent testimony of beauty, tenacity and fragrance in the world…

    Shalom Pam and garden friends,
Thank you for the blogs through the heat, drought, and whatever circumstances you are walking through. The rains will come, to Chicago also. I’m getting very accustomed to TExas weather with our continued 100 degrees and high humidity here in Chicago.
I love you all, you are such a strong encouragement to me and I can hear the sound of the garden every time you release worship. maria

This is such a contemplative offering place to the LORD! Thank You, LORD, for causing us to dwell with You in the garden!
