Snow in the garden…

Shabbat Shalom, All!

I hope you all are staying warm! It is quite cold here in North Texas, and I ventured out (briefly!) into the garden while it was snowing to take some video and pictures. I apologize if the video is a little choppy and fast – like I said, I was very brief! It’s 21 degrees here and windy with some snow, and I am a wimp when it comes to the cold. I hope you all have a blessed and warm shabbat!

Blessings,

Tracey

Lights in the garden..

Shabbat Shalom All!

All of the lights are up and on in the garden, and it’s beautiful as always. Thank God for our team who works hard every year to light up the whole garden! We’re finally having some proper December weather here, and I spent a chilly evening in the garden taking some video to share with you all. I hope you all get a chance to come out and see the lights in person, but here is the video in the meantime for you to enjoy!

Blessings,

Tracey

Shifting Seasons..

Shabbat Shalom All!

Here are some photos from my walk through the garden today – the first chilly day we’ve had this season! Temperatures have been at a record high for this time of year, but it was finally starting to feel like fall today. The garden is still absolutely gorgeous; as Pam shared a couple of Sundays ago, it seems to be putting on its final show before winter comes! Please enjoy these photos and have a blessed and wonderful Shabbat/weekend!

Blessings,

Tracey

Rain of Grace

Hello all!

We had some beautiful rain here last week! Chuck had asked for the rain as a prophetic sign, and the Lord faithfully poured out on us. I was reminded of the spontaneous song “Rain of Grace” from our Descending into Triumph album and decided to share it along with the video for you.

Sometimes when I’m feeling condemned or just low, I realize that I’ve come out from under God’s spout of grace and mercy. As the song says, His goodness is a river washing over us – we can always choose to stand under the rain of heaven and receive His grace and mercy. It is always available to us – we just have to choose! So choose to stand under His rain of mercy and grace this week, and allow Him to wash away the film of the world. Allow Him to wash away all of the things that have tried to oppress you and hold you captive, and shine in His glory!

Blessings,

Tracey

Monarchs in Judah!

Shabbat Shalom All!

The monarchs have arrived in the garden in quite an abundance! They are everywhere, and most notably swarming by the Lion of Judah. Pam says the only other time they’ve swarmed like this was the first year we were here! They are such a beautiful blessing to the garden, and I’ve uploaded some photos and a video for you to see them. Enjoy, and have a blessed and wonderful shabbat!

Blessings,

Tracey

A new season…

Shabbat Shalom!

Here are some pictures from the garden this week. As we move in to the fall season, the light from the sun always seems softer and seems to produce softer shadows, and I just love the glow it gives the garden at all times during the day. It’s a welcome reprieve after summer (even though we didn’t have a very harsh one this year!). Please enjoy the photos and thank God that for everything there is a season, and He walks with us through all of them.

Blessings!

Tracey

What’s new in the garden…

Hello all!

Sorry for the delay in updates – I had my pre-semester vacation and then school started back up! I promise to jump back in to updating y’all more regularly. Here are some new photos from the garden, including some of the new duck pond and building the new water feature in Asher – with Haley PierceĀ at the wheel! (And a special thank you to Lydia Lyons and Jesus de la Cruz for capturing some of these while I was at school)!

We appreciate all of you, and I hope you enjoy these photos and your shabbat!

Blessings,

Tracey
